ABOUT

The 2024 APS Psychology Career Expo has been designed to aid psychology students and early career professionals in their quest for fulfilling careers in psychology. This event will be held in six cities across Australia, bringing valuable opportunities directly to you! 

This event is for anyone studying psychology as an undergraduate student, honours students, masters students, early career psychologists and provisional psychologists! 

Our aim is to provide a tailored experience that supports APS students and Early Career members. The expo will feature educational sessions covering career development, opportunities for further study, networking and insights into relevant organisations and career paths.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS  

For psychology students, early career psychologist or provisional psychologist:

  • APS Student Member: $19.00 This category is exclusively for student members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Please have your APS membership number ready when booking.
  • Non-Member Student: $39.00 Interested in booking at a discounted rate? Become an APS Student Member for just $65.00 and enjoy a range of benefits, including access to exclusive resources and networking opportunities. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT APS MEMBERSHIP HERE. Once you receive your student membership, you'll be eligible for the APS Student Member rate at our expo.

For psychologists wishing to attend:

  • APS Member: $69.00 Psychologists who are APS members (non-students) are encouraged to attend if the event aligns with their professional interests or development needs. 
  • Non-Member Psychologist: $89.00 You don't have to be a student or APS member to join us. If our event matches your professional interests, we welcome you.
  • All prices inclusive of GST

CONSIDERATIONS 

Inclusions: Your in-person registration grants access to the venue and full program in your registered city, including an afternoon tea and a Welcome Reception, designed to facilitate networking and engagement among peers. 

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable booking fee of $10.00 is included in all bookings. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund, minus the booking fee. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days before the event. Prices may be subject to change. 

Prize Details: 1 prize will be drawn per expo city; student conference registration to the 2025 APS Festival of Psychology Friday, 16 May - Sunday, 18 May 2025 including a ticket to the welcome reception. The Festival will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland. Prize valued $400.  Conditions:  All your travel and accommodation will be at your own expense.  Registration can be transferable upon approval and request by APS.  Registration is not for resale.
