10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Abstract

Presenters will initially provide an overview of the contexts in which psychologists might be required to be involved in court cases.

A workshop will be conducted on writing treatment reports for court and registrants will have the opportunity to discuss their own experiences/concerns.

A moot court will then be conducted to demonstrate court procedures, court etiquette, giving evidence and working with a legal team.

The session will conclude with a panel discussion to debrief the moot court experience and highlight critical points for registrants in relation to working in court environments.
