The Scalable Clinical Psychology Practice: Using Digital Patient Education to Expand Impact and Income.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PMAbstract
Private practice psychologists are increasingly challenged by high demand, limited time, clinician burnout and the constraints of 1-on-1 delivery models. Traditional care can limit how many clients you help and cap both impact and income.
In this session, I present The Scalable Psychology Practice, a clinically-aligned framework that enables psychologists to expand their reach and revenue through structured digital patient-education programs (“HealthCourses”) and hybrid care pathways. Based on real-world examples from psychology practices in Australia the framework shows how to:
• Deliver evidence-based psychoeducation, guided self-help, and group support modules that complement therapy, without compromising quality or ethics
• Scale your impact beyond individual appointments - helping clients get support between sessions or before / after intensive therapy
• Create predictable, diversified income streams while preserving clinical integrity and adherence to regulatory / ethical standards
Participants will leave with a practical roadmap to transition their clinical practice into a hybrid model - increasing both client reach and practice sustainability, without increasing clinician workload.
I believe this presentation aligns with the conference theme of “Navigating Change and Embracing Opportunity,” offering psychologists a practical, clinically-aligned strategy for sustainable growth, increased client reach, and reduced practitioner burnout.
