Kylie is the Head of Policy at the APS and supports a team of four psychologists/psychological scientists in their work advocating for APS members, and more broadly psychology and the role psychologists play in improving the mental health and wellbeing of Australians. Kylie is passionate about our profession and the positive difference we can make in people’s lives. She has been a counselling psychologist for over 30 years with experience across a number of different workplaces. In addition to her role at the APS, Kylie works in private practice which includes supervising MPP students on placement and registered psychologists. She is committed to giving back to the profession and before taking on the role of Head of Policy was the WA Chair of the College of Counselling Psychologists for seven years and active on the National Committee. Kylie is proud to be a Fellow of the APS.
