Biography
Professor Kimberley Norris is a psychological scientist and clinical psychologist who works across academic, research and clinical practice settings. She has worked as a psychologist across health service, government, non-government, education, forensic, and private practice settings. Kimberley is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor and has supervised provisional psychologists through the 4+2, 5+1 and clinical psychology registrar pathways. She is passionate about growing the psychology workforce to provide access to safe and effective psychological services for all. Her overarching professional interests are focused on maximising human health, wellbeing and performance in both normal and extreme environments. Her research interests include adaptation and resilience in both extreme (e.g. Antarctica, space, prison and FIFO) and more normative (e.g. academic, life events) environments. Through her work, Kimberley develops new and innovative ways to provide psychological support at an individual, organisational and relationship level.
