Biography
Injured workers can sometimes face significant psychological challenges. From navigating the Workers’ Compensation System, experiencing isolation or frustration due to an injury, or managing chronic pain, being injured can take a mental toll as well as a physical one. Of course, psychological injury can also be caused as a direct result of events that may have happened at work.
Whilst many treating Psychologists may not be familiar with the Workers’ Compensation Scheme, we understand the critical need for experience psychological support to help overcome these obstacles and support a person both back to work and back to life.
