Established in 1889 during the First International Congress of Psychology in Paris, IUPsyS now represents 93 National member organisations, seven regional members and 19 affiliates comprising of 2,000,000 psychologists globally.
IUPsyS achieves its mission through various activities, including this quadrennial International Congress of Psychology flagship event, hosted by a National Member under the auspices of the Union.
