COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.      General Information:

  • Organizer: Australian Psychological Society Limited (APS)
  • Competition Name: ICP 2028 Win your way
  • Start Date: 5 September 2024
  • End Date:  19 July 2027
  • Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 18 years and older and who sign up for the ICP2028 Newsletter but excludes individuals who are residents of countries where such competitions are prohibited by law, or countries that have not given the required approval, license or permit to the APS to run the competition.
  • Entry Method: Sign up for the ICP 2028 newsletter.

2.      Eligibility:

  • Entrants must be a legal resident of a country where participation in this type of competition is allowed and any required approval, license or permit has been granted to the APS to run the competition in that country.
  • Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
  • Entrants must have signed up to receive the ICP2028 Newsletter online.
  • Employees, agents, or family members of APS or affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.

3.      Entry Requirements:

  • Entry is free of charge.
  • Entrants must sign up for the ICP 2028 newsletter to enter.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed.

4.      Prize:

  • The prize includes return airfares, accommodation, and registration to attend ICP 2028 in Melbourne, Australia, for one person.
  • The maximum prize value is limited to $10,000 AUD.

5.      Selection of Winner:

  • The winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries.
  • The draw will be conducted in Melbourne Australia by an independent third party to ensure fairness.
  • The draw will take place at 10:00 am (AM/PM) Australian Eastern Standard Time on Sunday 19 July 2027, in Melbourne Australia.

6.      Notification of Winner:

  • The winner will be notified via email within 14 days of the draw.
  • The winner must respond within 30 days to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within this period, another winner will be drawn.
  • Subject to the winner’s approval details of the winning entrant will be published in the ICP2028 Newsletter following acceptance of the prize.

7.      Legal Requirements:

The competition must comply with the laws and regulations for competitions, applicable in the country of residence of each eligible entrant in the competition. APS will apply for and secure all necessary approvals, licenses or permits required by law and available in the country of residence of each eligible entrant.

8.      Countries with Specific Restrictions:

  • United States: Some states have restrictions on lotteries
  • Canada: Requires registration and adherence to specific regulations, including French language requirements in Quebec.
  • European Union: Varies by country; some may require registration and adherence to strict data privacy laws.
  • Brazil: Strict regulations; often requires government approval.
